Kerry, Kieran and the staff wish you a warm welcome to The Crown.  The Crown has had many changes over the past few years, most importantly its "Face Lift".  

Currently we are developing our garden area with a new patio, sun deck, and pergola.  Our green fingers will be challenged with upkeeping our planters.  The garden area is a bonus for the pub as its the only pub garden on Shirley High Street, so we will be mowing the lawn and pulling up the weeds to keep it looking blooming!!

The Crown also has 2 very different bar areas.  Our front bar offers a warm and cosy atmosphere with the fire on in the winter, rays of sunlight through our large windows in the summer.  We offer a good selection of real ales as well as a belly filling lunchtime menu.

The Sport's bar boasts plasma screens, a pool table and an live entertainment stage (newly constructed).  
There's plenty of diverse entertainment. Locals can take centre stage on a Wednesday night during 'Jam Sessions'
Live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights include a variety of performers - from Rock & Roll to Ska music.
The Sport's bar can also be hired for privated functions such as birthdays and weddings.  We can provide entertaiment and buffet style catering for all occasions

Our home cooked menu is now available monday to saturday with the Sunday Roasts being a firm favourite where bookings are advised.

March 31st 2008 we will be introducing our new menu and serving times.  We will be opening the kitchen for the first time on a monday to cater the whole week.  In the near future we will be presenting a evening menu so watch this space.
